• Crediting Artwork

If you see anyone reposting Manta's work without credit, please comment under the post “ Art by MantaAway ”.
While Manta does not allow reposting of her work without crediting. Manta does want to give the reposter (who might have just forgotten) the benefit of the doubt and give them a chance to repost again with credit included.It also allows people to find Manta's work if they are wondering who the Artist may be.

• How does Manta create her art?

Manta uses two art softwares called Procreate and Clip Studio Paint.
When drawing on her iPad Manta will often start sketching and lining the piece in Procreate. When it comes time to colour the piece she will export it into Clip Studio Paint and then colour and shade the art work in Clip Studio Paint.
Manta will often then export the piece back into Procreate to add extra shading and highlights and effects such as perspective blur and chromatic aberration.
Once Manta is happy with the final outcome she will create a lower resolution image of the final piece and then use glaze to add the final noise effects.Manta’s workflow is not always the same and she may sometimes just stick to one art software instead of using both, it mostly depends on what device she has decided to use to create her artwork on and what brushes she wants to use for the final outcome. Manta's posts list which softwares she uses for each artwork.Manta acknowledges that creating between two art softwares isn’t a commonly used technique by Artists.
Her speed paints / timelapses may look different depending on in which software the art timelapse was recorded in.
She mostly uses two different softwares due to the brushes she chooses as they do not work in both softwares.

• Does Manta uses references?

Manta does use 3D models in her artwork.
The 3D models are her own VRoid models she has made posed in VRM desktop poser or sometimes she uses the models in the Clip Studio Paint assets.
She does sometimes directly trace over the 3D models she uses to save time.Manta sometimes take poses from reference images she finds online, When she does this she links all the reference images in her posts to credit the original creators / photographers / models.
She does not trace over photos that she has used as references from online images.
Manta does not use AI references.Manta does often use photographs for her backgrounds to help save her time creating however all images have been taken by Manta herself with her phone or camera and are her own pictures used.
Manta does photobash and edit her own photos that she has taken herself.
Manta does not use AI or others photos / photography in her artwork.

• Why does Manta use Glaze?

Manta glazes her artwork to intentionally add noise and extra colours to her artwork.
She intentionally created her website and artwork to have a nostalgic and lower resolution look to it.
Manta does not use AI to create her artwork.
She does not use AI for the brain storming or conceptualising her artwork or character designs.
She does not trace or colour over AI artwork or references.

• VTuber Rebranding

Manta is aware that VTubers can tend to rebrand and graduate a lot. She tries her best to draw up to date designs of VTubers but sometimes she may draw a previous out of date design or may draw a graduated VTuber.Manta's artwork is not always posted online straight after it is created and her artwork may be out of date when it is finally posted.If by chance Manta has drawn a previous design of yours instead of your current design please don’t worry. She may be aware of the design change and have noted it for the future.If you are selling your VTuber design / IP you may include artwork Manta has drawn for your VTuber but please do not increase the price to include artwork Manta has drawn.
Do not profit or make money from Manta's fan art.Please include credit to all artwork drawn by MantaAway and please make sure to direct all buyers of VTuber's IP to the terms and conditions page here, it is greatly appreciated.

Manta draws a lot of VTubers. While she tries her best to research each VTuber she draws, She sadly can't keep track of every VTuber that she has drawn.Manta may not know of drama or scandals involving certain VTubers.
Manta's fan art does not reflect / support actions and beliefs of individual VTubers.Please do not use Manta's artwork for harmful or drama related content such as Call out posts, Google docs or YouTube videos and YouTube Thumbnails which involve Call outs, News or Drama. Manta loves to draw purely for fun and doesn't wish to see her artwork used in negative ways.While Manta is not on social media herself, She is aware of when her artwork is being misused.
