⟡ Manta's LoreManta (she/her) is a non-verbal Manta Ray that lives in a empty liminal space with limited internet access. Which leads her to travel to different realms to be able to update her website and share her artwork with the world. She spends most of her time scavenging for scrap metal and turning it into makeshift technology so she can binge watch her favourite VTubers. Manta draws Fan Art to show her appreciation to creators she enjoys watching. Manta dreams of one day creating content like her favourite streamer Bite.Manta built her companion T-Vee. A robot that can read her thoughts through the gems she wears around her head. Manta keeps a spare gem on her necklace in case she loses one and also keeps another on her tail which allows her to defend herself against any threats or dangerous entities she may come across when she travels.T-Vee can also act as Manta's voice, Helping her to verbally communicate with others. Manta's preferred method of communication is sign language and using her facial expressions.

⟡ T-Vee's LoreT-Vee (she/her/they/them) also known as Static, is a robotic computer system built by Manta. Originally a broken television set, Manta was able to bring T-Vee to life to watch VTubers and Streamers.Over time T-Vee learned more about Manta and the realms around them.
T-Vee is able to read Manta's thoughts from the gems worn around Manta's head. This really helps Manta as she is non-verbal and struggles to communicate with others so T-Vee can speak on Manta's behalf.T-Vee has multiple forms including a version with a body so she can run and move around the different realms with Manta helping her to collect any scrap metal so they can keep building Manta's Website, Helping Manta's artwork to reach the outside world.Although T-Vee is highly logical, she sometimes struggles to understand emotions but tries her best to be a caring friend in any way she can be.

⟡ Bite's LoreBite (She/Her) is a Great White Shark that lives in the basement of an abandoned liminal town that happens to have amazing internet connection.Bite worked hard to become a streamer and content creator under the name "Gr8BiteShark", entertaining a huge global audience with her Gaming, Karaoke, and Just Chatting streams. Her fame came at a cost. Over time Bite sacrificed her health due to overworking and as her medical condition got worse she streamed less frequently. She was once a funny and entertaining creator but now has retreated into loneliness, silence and bitterness. She spends much of her time looking back thinking about the community she once had.
Bite now struggles to cope with online criticism and the heavy pressure to live up to her audience's expectations.

• How does Manta create her art?

Manta uses two art softwares called Procreate and Clip Studio Paint.
When drawing on her iPad Manta will often start sketching and lining the piece in Procreate. When it comes time to colour the piece she will export it into Clip Studio Paint and then colour and shade the art work in Clip Studio Paint.
Manta will often then export the piece back into Procreate to add extra shading and highlights and effects such as perspective blur and chromatic aberration.
Once Manta is happy with the final outcome she will create a lower resolution image of the final piece and then use glaze to add the final noise effects.Manta’s workflow is not always the same and she may sometimes just stick to one art software instead of using both, it mostly depends on what device she has decided to use to create her artwork on and what brushes she wants to use for the final outcome. Manta's posts list which softwares she uses for each artwork.Manta acknowledges that creating between two art softwares isn’t a commonly used technique by Artists.
Her speed paints / timelapses may look different depending on in which software the art timelapse was recorded in.
She mostly uses two different softwares due to the brushes she chooses as they do not work in both softwares.
